About Us
In 2022 MI Harp Center opened to support harpists throughout Michigan by providing a local store for harp professionals, amateurs, enthusiasts and students.
Services we offer: lever and pedal harp rentals, consignment sales, harp sizing, and tuning services. In the future we are looking forward to sponsoring events, hosting regulation weekends, teacher socials, workshops and masterclasses.
We are working on adding more music, strings and accessories to the store. Please let us know what you would like to see.
Brittany DeYoung, Owner
As an active performer and teacher throughout Southeast and Central Michigan, I know how important it is to have a local resource for harps, music, strings and accessories.
I am the principal harpist of the Lansing Symphony, the harp instructor at the Flint School of the Performing Arts, maintain a full private teaching studio, and freelance extensively in the area. As a freelance performer I have had the opportunity to perform with major recording artists, business leaders, and foreign dignitaries. I am always interested in new opportunities to spread the joy of harp music.
Robbie DeYoung
Robbie serves as Brittany's IT and business support liaison. Robbie has no musical talent but loves being outdoors and enjoys tinkering with home automation. Robbie works full time as a Paramedic in the Metro Detroit Area.
