Burgundy Natural Gut String - 3rd Octave These are made from the same core materials as Bow Brand Natural Gut strings. At each stage of the string making process, strings are examined for flaws and inconsistencies, at which point they are discarded. When strings are perfectly structured but gain a cosmetic fault in the last layer of varnish, for example a speck of dust, then the strings are sold at a discount in order to support students and those on lower incomes. Most cosmetic flaws are not visible to the naked eye but, as part of the quality excellence process, the string is sold as part of the Burgundy range. The have the same melodious and rich tone as Bow Brand Natural Gut strings. They are available for pedal harps from Top G 5th F and for lever harps from 1st E to 5th F.
